The Atlanta Falcons have waited for tight end Tony Gonzalez to reconsider retirement. Their wish came though on Friday as the 37-year-old signed a two-year deal.
Gonzalez caught 93 passes for 930 yards and eight touchdowns during the 2012 regular season.
While the Falcons and Gonzalez deal is for two years and $14 million, returning for the second year will be up to Gonzalez. His cap number for the 2013 season will be $5.25 million.
