If healthy Beachy will be quite an in-season addition to the Braves rotation. Last season Beachy had a 2.00 ERA and a 0.96 WHIP in 81 innings of work.
Currently the Braves rotation stacks up as Kris Medlen, Tim Hudson, Paul Maholm, Mike Minor, and either Julio Teheran or Sean Gilmartin as the fifth starter.
Notes
Former Braves starter Jair Jurrjens signed a one-year deal with the Baltimore Orioles worth $1.5 million.
