The Baltimore Orioles and Jair Jurrjens have come to terms on a one-year contract for 2013. Jurrjens was non-tendered by the Braves earlier this offseason.

Last season Jurrjens was 3-4 with a 6.89 ERA at the big league level and spent a good part of the year in the minors. Orioles GM Dan Duquette is hoping that Jurrjens can fill a spot at the back-end of the Orioles rotation.
Jurrjens dealt with a knee injury last season and is one year removed from being a member of the NL All-Star team. He was 13-6 with a 2.96 ERA in 2011.
