Ed Reed will not retire after Super Bowl XLVII. Reed had considered retirement the last two offseasons.

Fellow Ravens teammate Ray Lewis will retire after the Super Bowl which led some to suspect Reed would follow him. Reed, 35, will look to continue his career next season.

There figures to be plenty of teams who have interest in Reed. It is not known how aggressive the Ravens will be in retaining him.

Some have went as far to link Reed to the Colts due to his past association with Chuck Pagano. Pagano the secondary in Baltimore from 2008-2010 and was promoted to defensive coordinator in 2011.

Another team that is expected to have interest is the Patriots. Head coach Bill Belichek has long been a fan of Reed.
