Linebacker Clay Matthews was able to return to practice for the Green Bay Packers on Wednesday. Matthews has been out since Week 9 while dealing with a hamstring injury.
Matthews is expected to play in Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears. On Monday Packers head coach Mike McCarthy expressed hope that Matthews would be able to play against the Bears.
The addition of Matthews bodes well for the NFC North leading Packers as they face one of the worst offensive lines in the Bears.
