The Indianapolis Colts are now 7-4 after defeating the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Defensively the Colts kept the Bills grounded frustrating quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick for much of the game.
Much of the Colts offense was provided by T.Y. Hilton. Hiton ran back a punt for a 75-yard touchdown to score the games first points in the first quarter.
The Bills and Colts then traded field goals with Ryan Lindell kicking two for the Bills and Adam Vinatieri kicking two for the Colts. At halftime the Colts led 13-6.
In the middle of the third quarter the Colts began working on a drive that would go 15 plays and 87 yards. The drive, which lasted 8 minutes and 4 seconds, culminated with an 8 yard touchdown pass from Andrew Luck to Hilton.
Fitzpatrick would get hot in the fourth quarter. He would lead the Bills on a 8 play drive which ended in a 1 yard touchdown pass to Lee Smith.
The Bills hopes for a stop late in the fourth quarter ended when cornerback Sean Gilbert was called for a pass interference penalty on Reggie Wayne. Wayne leads the NFL in receptions and caught 8 passes for 102 yards against the Bills.

The Colts were a 3.5 point favorite, thus covering the spread. The over/under for the game was 51. It was not achieved as there were a total of 33 points between the two teams.
Buffalo’s slim playoff hopes are virtually done. They have lost four of their last five and are now 4-7.
