Dallas Cowboys running back Felix Jones did not practice Wednesday. Dealing with soreness in both of his knees the running back has missed practice each of the last two days. The Cowboys have been dealing with injuries at the running back position as they have been without DeMarco Murrary since Oct. 14.
In last Sunday’s game against Cleveland the Cowboys gave Jones 14 carries. He managed 43 yards and scored a touchdown. Should Jones not be able to play on Thanksgiving Day he will be replaced by Lance Dunbar and Phillip Tanner.
The Cowboys remain one of the NFL’s worst teams on the ground, something that does not figure to change against Washington on Thursday. The Redskins are the seventh ranked defense against the run allowing 94.6 yards per game.
