We can’t say we are surprised that it has finally happened. It was only a matter of time before New York Jets players came out with their true feelings about their back-up quarterback, Tim Tebow.
In Wednesday’s edition of the New York Daily News, more than a dozen Jets players voiced their opinions on Tebow, one even calling him, “terrible.” and saying that he hasn’t improved since March.
The only Jets player that permitted his name in the story was Matt Slauson, who said he supports QB Mark Sanchez and thinks he is the best option for the team.
“It’s not even close,” Slauson said. “All the other quarterbacks know it. I have all the confidence in Mark. We don’t really have a choice.”
They don’t believe his success in Denver last year is sustainable, “We can’t win running that sh–,” another player said.
