NFL extends trade deadline as Hurricane Sandy approaches land

The NFL has extended the trade deadline 48 hours as Hurricane Sandy approaches land. Multiple teams have already folded up shop ahead of the storms eventual landfall.

While the extension of the trade deadline will give clubs extra time to work on trades it is unclear if there will be anymore movement then usual. Two of the bigger names on the trade block are St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson and Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe.

Carolina is rumored to be wanting to trade DeAngelo Williams while Dallas may move Felix Jones.
