The San Fransisco Giants will likely start Barry Zito in Game 1 of the World Series when they host the Detroit Tigers. Zito last pitched in Game 5 of the National League Championship Series where he threw 7 2/3 scoreless innings against the St. Louis Cardinals.
While no official word has come from the team the Game 2 starter will likely be Tim Lincecum or Madison Bumgarner.
Matt Cain pitched in Monday nights deciding Game 7 of the NLCS.
