Ed Reed: I’m playing hurt too, Suggs to return

Ed Reed, safety for the Baltimore Ravens told WJZ-FM in Baltimore on Wednesday that he has been playing with a torn labrum in his shoulder. Reed said, that it is “maybe” affecting his play.

He didn’t mention when he was injured or what shoulder he injured but he has not been listed on the Ravens injury report for weeks.

Last weekend in the Ravens game against Dallas, Ray Lewis suffered a torn right triceps which initially was thought to cost him the season. While Lewis is not playing this weekend for the Ravens,  Terrell Suggs is aiming to play against the Houston Texans. Suggs tore his achilles before the season and has gone as far to get tickets for friends and family to watch him play.

The injury to Reed does not figure to cost him any game time.
