In today’s New England Patriots versus Denver Broncos game two of the leagues best quarterbacks in Tom Brady and Peyton Manning faced off. In the third quarter, with 5:00 to go Brady jumped over a pile for a 1-yard touchdown after the team had marched 80 yards in 16 plays.
The Broncos got the ball back, then Rob Ninkovich sacked Manning and forced a fumble on the play. Vince Wilford recovered and the Patriots took over at the Broncos 14-yard line.
With 4:42 Stevan Ridley took a pitch left and sprinted into the end zone, diving after contact, for an 8-yard touchdown to capitalize on the Broncos’ turnover.
The Patriots won the game 31-21.
