Mike Olsen finishes thirty-third in Sprint Cup debut

In his NASCAR Sprint Cup Series debut Mike Olsen finished 33rd Sunday afternoon at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. During the Sylvania 300, Olsen was driving the No. 32 FAS Lane Racing Ford for his long time friend Frank Stoddard Jr.

The two grew up near each other and with the No. 32 safely locked into the field Stoddard saw an opportunity to give his friend a chance to compete at the Sprint Cup level.

Olsen, a 44-year-old who won championships in what is now the K&N Pro Series East tour in 2001 and 2006.

The pair became the first driver-owner tandem from New Hampshire to race in the Sprint Cup series.
