Sam Hornish Jr. will start Sunday’s race in the back

Parker Kligerman will be making his debut for Red Horse Racing  and playing double duty practicing and qualifying Sam Hornish Jr’s. car this weekend at Michigan International Speedway (MIS)

Hornish will be in Montreal for the Nationwide race, and with him having running third in the points and having a serious chance at the NNS title, he will spend all of Saturday there missing practice and qualifying at MIS.

The first time he will climb aboard the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Dodge will be on Sunday morning on the starting grid at MIS.

Since the driver of the actual race is different then the driver who qualified, Hornish Jr. will have to start at the back of the field no matter where Kligerman qualifies.

This is good exposure for Kligerman who was just released by Brad Keselowski Racing last week. (Read about it here)
