James Buescher comes back to win at American Ethanol 225

James Buescher won at Saturday nights American Ethanol 225 Camping World Truck Series race.

He took the lead on the last lap, passing Timothy Peters and holding off a strong charge from the #2 Richard Childress Chevrolet driven by Brandon Gaughan. Gaughan was on his way to his first win since 2003.

This win for Buescher was the third of his career, with all three coming this season. His other wins were at Kentucky and Kansas.

Brandon Gaughan finished in second place with Timothy Peters finishing third. Matt Crafton and Parker Kilgerman rounded out the top 5.

Buescher is in third place in the points; 30 points behind Timothy Peters.

In a race that was full of milestones for many, Bodine with his 200th truck start, Starr with his 300th and Hornaday with 50,000 laps in his career it added another win for Buescher’s milestones and helped him get one step closer to a championship.
