When the assets of Red Bull Racing were purchased by a group of men this winter it was believed the team would function much like it had. Locked into top-35 positions in owner points the teams goals were simple: Keep those spots and obtain some future sponsorships to ensure longevity.
Six races into the Sprint Cup season the team has successfully maintained their positions inside the top-35. The #93 car is currently 30th in the owner points, 20 points ahead of the #83 which is ranked 35th.
While the team has some support coming from Burger King there has not been any additional news to report and aside from some tv time for Landon Cassill during the jet dryer delay at Daytona there has been little else to see of this team on a weekly bases.
With 30 races to go there is still time for the organization to have a few good runs. Obviously winning with the likes of Cassill, David Reutimann and Travis Kvapil in subpar cars is no easy feat but finding ways to get into the top-15 on a semi regular bases should not too much to ask.
