WWE Monday Night RAW Preview for Aug. 25, 2014

WWE Monday Night RAW will be airing LIVE from the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA. The USA Network will again carry coverage of RAW this week which should expand on the events from a week ago.

Going against strong competition in the form of the Emmy Awards on Monday, RAW has a big show planned which contains hall of famers Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels.

Given that AJ Lee twice cost Paige wins against Natalya one can expect the opposite to happen this week. The two continue their feud for the Diva’s title which has suddenly given the women’s division some life.

The tag team titles were not defended at SummerSlam but one would not expect the same to happen at Night of Champions. What will happen with the teams of Goldust & Stardust, the Wyatt Family, Rybaxel?

Dean Ambrose left RAW last week escaping medical attention after taking a curb stomp onto concrete blocks. The expectation is that Ambrose will be out of action for a while since he is filming a movie. What this means for Seth Rollins remains to be seen.

Randy Orton and Roman Reigns are set for another match at Night of Champions as are Bray Wyatt and Chris Jericho. Expect more to come.

John Cena was absent from RAW last week probably in an attempt to further sell the beat down that he took at SummerSlam from Brock Lesnar. Cena has already invoked his rematch clause and we can expect the former champion to appear at RAW to make a statement.
