Above is a photo of WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan after having neck surgery.
The surgery on Bryan, cervical foraminotomy, was performed by Dr. Joseph Maroon and while the champion is said to be feeling well and regaining strength his status going forward is unknown.
PWInsider.com is reporting that Bryan will be released from the hospital in 1-2 days but a timetable to come back could be 2-3 months.
The WWE is claiming they will address the WWE World Heavyweight Title situation on RAW. He is expected to keep the title but if he is out until Summerslam things could change. Stay tuned.
