Former WWE wrestler “Stone Cold” Steve Austin is the latest backer of same-sex marriage.
The Texas Rattlesnake said the following on his podcast:
“I’m for same-sex marriage,” he said. “I believe that any human being in America, any human being in the world, that wants to be married … if it’s the same-sex, more power to them.”
“I don’t give a shit if two guys, two gals, guy-gal, whatever it is, I believe that any human being in America, or any human being in the goddamn world, that wants to be married.”
“If it’s the same-sex, more power to them.”
“What also chaps my ass, some of these churches, have the high horse that they get on and say ‘we as a church do not believe in that’.”
“Which one of these motherf**kers talked to God and God said that same-sex marriage was a no can do? Can you verify? Can you give me some background on that 411?”
“I have some damned good friends who are gay and I’m absolutely for same-sex marriage,” said Austin.
The comments by Austin were recorded last July.
