A WWE fan has attacked two wrestlers in Cape Town, South Africa during the company’s tour of events there.
A fan jumped over the security railing and hit Randy Orton between the legs. The fan does not appear to get a good shot in and well lets be honest Orton would be stupid to not be wearing a cup.
After the attack Orton goes to approach the fan who is escorted away by security. Orton then goes back to his turnbuckle celebration to the crowds cheering.
The fan is also said to have attacked Big E Langston. You can briefly see Langston in the above video.
WWE issued the following statement on the incident:
“Tonight Randy Orton was violently attacked from behind by a South African fan, who is currently being held in jail pending criminal charges. The extent of Orton’s injuries are unknown at this time.”
