\nDonald Trump may indeed buy the Buffalo Bills.<\/p>\n

According to Erie County Republican Chairman Nick Langworthy, Trump’s interest is legit.<\/p>\n

“It’s very serious,” Langworthy said, via USA Today<\/a>. “He’s long had an interest in professional sports.”<\/p>\n

Langworthy says acquiring the Bills could cost Trump $1 million. It is also unclear if Trump would work by himself or if he would be part of a group looking to make a bid. <\/p>\n

“If he wanted to buy the Bills himself,” said Michael Cohen, a lawyer for Trump, “it would not be a problem.”<\/p>\n

Any purchase of the Bills by Trump would likely mean that the team would stay in Buffalo and could come together rather quickly. <\/p>\n

“It seems to be something that will happen in a matter of just a few months,” Langworthy said. “The team and trust are currently putting appropriate paperwork together, and the evaluation of the team, before they formally solicit bids for the purchase.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
