Now they save $3.125 million of that against the cap by cutting ties with the 36-year-old.<\/p>\n<p>The Titans were allegedly concerned about the Bironas&#8217; performance on kickoffs. <\/p>\n<p>In a team released statement general manager Ruston Webster thanks Bironas for his nine seasons with the Titans.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We want to thank Rob for his nine years of service to the Titans,&#8221; Webster said. &#8220;He has been an outstanding kicker and we appreciate him both for his contributions on the field and in our community.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>There should be a market for Bironas who was 25-of-29 last season. currently Bironas is fourth all time in accuracy making 85.7-percent of his kicks.
