The Green Bay Packers have signed former Chicago Bears defensive lineman Julius Peppers to a three-year deal worth $30 million. By signing with the Packers, Peppers will now be given a chance to torture his former team twice a season.<\/p>\n

Peppers, 34, proved last season to still have some in the tank as he picked up 46 total tackles and 7.5 sacks.<\/p>\n

It is surprising that the Packers had to commit to three years. Of the $30 million in the contract, $7.5 million is guaranteed.<\/p>\n

Peppers spent the last four seasons with the Bears but was let go in a salary cap move that saved the team $9.8 million.<\/p>\n
