The Indianapolis Colts will avoid a playoff blackout for Saturday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.<\/p>\n

Grocery chain Meijer came to the Colts aid purchasing the remaining 1,200 tickets. Those tickets will be donated to local military families.<\/p>\n

A relieved Jim Irsay relayed the information on twitter to the Colts fanbase.<\/p>\n

Meijer’s a superstar in our community. Bought 1200 tix and giving to local military families. Game on WTHR. BLUE OUT, not black out.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u201cMeijer understands just how important it is to support the communities where our customers and team members work and live, and are pleased to offer these playoff tickets to local military families as a way of thanking them for all they do,\u201d Co-Chairman Doug Meijer said in a statement.<\/p>\n
