Add Mark Duper to the list of former NFL players who have tested positive for CTE.<\/p>\n

Duper, a former standout wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins, broke the news on Friday.Two years ago Duper survived kidney cancer and sees CTE as another challenge.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is what it is,\u201d Duper told CBS Sports<\/a>.\u00a0\u201dI\u2019m thinking back on my life and where I am going with this. I have to deal with it and make the best of it. It does make me think of the future and how things are gonna change.\u201d<\/p>\n

Duper is the fourth former NFL player to be diagnosed with CTE this week joining\u00a0Tony Dorsett,Joe DeLamielleure, and Leonard Marshall.<\/p>\n

A target of Dan Marino for years, Duper caught 511 passes for\u00a08,869 yards and 59 touchdowns and was named All-Pro twice in 11 seasons.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t have any regrets about playing,\u201d Duper said. \u201cI made a good living off football and I\u2019m still making a living off it. You can\u2019t regret something you enjoyed, something you love and I loved football.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHopefully, this can put things into perspective for younger players,\u201d Duper added. \u201cThe rules are changing\u2013the rules have changed. Players should get themselves tested.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
