The Dallas Cowboys are fearing that Dez Bryant’s back issue has gone beyond\u00a0routine soreness or spasms.\u00a0\u00a0According to\u00a0FoxSportsSouthwest.com sources “close to the Cowboys” fear Dez Bryant’s back issue could be a bulging or herniated disc.<\/p>\n

Bryant was tight lipped in the locker room,\u00a0“C’mon, you know I’m going to play,” he said.<\/p>\n

Bryant missed practice on Wednesday, and according to Fox Sports was consulting a doctor.<\/p>\n

On Thursday Bryant was scheduled to sit out the workout but did end up practicing. He moved carefully through the “jog-through” start of the session, but when it came to the full on work-out, Bryant removed his helmet, walked to the sideline and reclined on the ground under the supervision of a trainer.<\/span><\/p>\n

“It’s bothering him a little bit off and on,” head coach Jason Garrett said. “We don’t think it’s a significant deal.”<\/p>\n

Bryant is likely to play on Sunday versus the New Orleans Saints, although he may not be 100%. His status will be updated later today.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
