While Rapoport&#8217;s comments are nothing new they echo statements from ESPN&#8217;s Ed Werder who noted that the Packers would sign Flynn if they felt he was healthy.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%23Packers&amp;src=hash\">#Packers<\/a> plan to work out old friend Matt Flynn at some point soon.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RapSheet\/statuses\/398594766587166720\">November 7, 2013<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Werder also <a title=\"Packers not expected to reunite with Vince Young\" href=\"http:\/\/tireball.com\/nfl\/2013\/11\/05\/packers-not-expected-to-reunite-with-vince-young\/\">ruled out a reunion<\/a> between the Packers and Vince Young.<\/p>\n<p>The Packers appear set to go with Seneca Wallace under center again on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles. Scott Tolzien has been promoted from the practice squad to No. 2 on the depth chart.<\/p>\n<p>While Rodgers will miss Sunday&#8217;s game there is <a title=\"Aaron Rodgers declines to speculate on return date\" href=\"http:\/\/tireball.com\/nfl\/2013\/11\/05\/aaron-rodgers-declines-to-speculate-on-return-date\/\">no clear timetable<\/a> on his return.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MATTHEWS:<\/strong> <a title=\"Packers: Clay Matthews Ready To Go On Sunday\" href=\"http:\/\/tireball.com\/nfl\/2013\/11\/07\/packers-clay-matthews-ready-to-go-on-sunday\/\">LB ready to go on Sunday<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Flynn has been released by both the Oakland Raiders and Buffalo Bills since the start of the season. In two games this season Flynn was 22-of-34 for 246 yards with a touchdown and interception. While his completing percentage (64.7) will come across as nice its largely because Flynn opted to dump the ball off rather then throw down field during his lone start for the Raidres on Sept. 29 against a porous Washington Redskins defense.<\/p>\n<p>The Buffalo Bills opted to start Jeff Tuel last week over Flynn.
