According to a new rule created this year designed to protect players, that is an illegal play.<\/p>\n<p>The 15-yard penalty gave the Jets another chance and they took advantage, winning the game on a 42-yard kick from Folk.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/tireball.com\/uploads\/GIFJONES.gif\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>According to FOX Sports Rules Analyst Mike Pereira, this is the first time the penalty has been called this season.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p>That is correct call in NE\/NYJ game.
