Reports are circulating that Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano rigged the out come of a team election so that quarterback Josh Freeman would not be named captain.<\/p>\n

A fifth year player, Freeman had been a team captain on the Buccaneers for the last three years but Schiano and the Buccaneers spent a third round draft pick on Mike Glennon in April.<\/p>\n

According to the Tampa Bay Times<\/a> the coach takes credit for counting the votes and says that Freeman was not chosen.<\/p>\n

Reports are also circulating that in a players only meeting the team may have question questioned the vote tally.<\/p>\n

Even if this report proves to be untrue it is clear that the relationship between Schiano and Freeman is beyond repair. If it does prove to be true it puts a lot of questions about the credibility of Schiano as the Buccaneers head coach.<\/p>\n

To top things off Freeman did not show up to the team photo.<\/p>\n
