Titus Young had problems in Detroit, so it was no surprise to see the team let him go<\/a> at the end of the season. What happened next – is a just another part of a sad story.<\/p>\n

The St Louis Rams were the only team to claim Young after he was waived – but now, they are already letting him go.<\/a> Young had been at Rams Park just a couple of days this week \u2014 meeting team coaches and officials, taking a physical, etc.<\/p>\n

It seems that the Rams had seen enough – and decided it just wasn’t worth it, which is interesting since financially Young was low risk only being owed $555,000, plus a roster bonus of $185,000 at the start of training camp.<\/p>\n

Below are some of the reasons Detroit decided to get rid of Young in the first place:<\/p>\n

He sucker-punched teammate Louis Delmas during volunteer workouts.<\/p>\n

He had a meltdown in a Nov. 18 game versus Green Bay, purposely lining up in the wrong spot in an effort to get the ball thrown to him. This spilled over into a sideline argument between Lions wide receiver coach Shawn Jefferson and offensive coordinator Scott Linehan, the former Rams coach.<\/p>\n

And you can’t forget when he asked to be released via his Twitter account. <\/a><\/p>\n
