New York Giants WR Victor Cruz honored one of the victims from Friday\u2019s massacre in Newtown, Connecticut at Sandy Hook Elementary by placing the boys name on his shoes and gloves during today’s game.<\/p>\n

Jack Pinto, 7, was one of the 20 children who were shot and killed Friday, a day that no one will ever forget.<\/p>\n

All NFL\u00a0 teams will\u00a0 observe a moment of remembrance<\/a> before their games on Sunday and Monday. The New York Giants and New England Patriots will have specific tributes to the fallen on their uniforms.<\/p>\n

But one player, Cruz has taken it a step further. He reached out to the Pinto family after hearing that Jack was a big fan of his and will be honored his life by wearing shoes and gloves with Jack\u2019s name on them during today\u2019s game against the Atlanta Falcons.<\/p>\n

Cruz told ESPN that the family was considering burying Jack in Cruz\u2019s jersey.<\/p>\n
