Yet, when asked about Cutler during his introductory press conference Fox declined to endorse Cutler as the Bears starting quarterback.<\/p>\n<p>Here we go again.<\/p>\n<p>Cutler will be working under his third different head coach since joining the Bears. The last two head coaches joined a team that already had the quarterback under contract.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt doesn\u2019t matter what player here, we\u2019re going to start that process and I\u2019m not there yet,\u201d Fox said.<\/p>\n<p>While Fox did not endorse Cutler but did let the media members in attendance know he had exchanged texts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m looking forward to getting to know Jay,\u201d Fox said. \u201cI just reminded him that this game\u2019s only fun when you win, and we will.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>John Fox has taken over as the new head coach of the Chicago Bears.
