Punter Spencer Lanning could also taking over kicking duties if necessary. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I take great pride in my competitiveness I really do,&#8221; Cundiff said via the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cleveland.com\/browns\/index.ssf\/2014\/12\/embattled_kicker_billy_cundiff.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Cleveland Plain Dealer<\/a>. &#8220;I feel like that&#8217;s what&#8217;s helped me throughout my time in the league but when it comes to hypotheticals, I think we&#8217;ll leave that to the head coach.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>On the season Cundiff is 22-of-29.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Browns kicking game has been a mess this season so an injury suffered by Billy Cundiff in practice on Thursday may not be the worst thing.
