A year ago Pierre Garcon led the NFL with 113 catches totaling 1,346 yards. While those numbers were expected to drop in 2014 few could have envisioned that though\u00a0six games Garcon would have just 30 catches for 309 yards and two touchdowns.<\/p>\n

Ten of Garcon’s 30 catches came in the season opener leaving him just with just 20 over his last five games leaving some to label him as a missing man.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s football. You know how it is, man,\u201d Garcon said of his decreased statistics via the Washington Post<\/a>. \u201cYou never know when your number\u2019s going to be called. You just have to be ready.\u201d<\/p>\n

Coach Jay Gruden admitted that the Redskins have been having trouble getting Garcon the ball.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s had a couple of games where he\u2019s had multiple catches, like you said. Then he\u2019s had a couple games where he\u2019s had two or three catches, which seems a little bit odd,\u201d Gruden said. \u201cBut sometimes this coverage predicates it. Sometimes he\u2019s a feature guy and Kirk doesn\u2019t see him, or he gets pressured or what have you. .\u2009.\u2009. But we do have to make sure we get him more touches early in games.\u201d<\/p>\n
