\nFifth-round draft pick AJ McCarron has begun throwing the football at Cincinnati Bengals training camp but remains unsure of when he will return to the field.<\/p>\n

According to the Bengals team website, McCarron is now throwing the ball from 55 to 65 yards.<\/p>\n

\u201cI always think I could be out there,\u2019 McCarron said after practice on Tuesday. \u201cThat\u2019s up to the coaches, the training staff and Mr. (Mike) Brown. Whatever they tell me to do, that\u2019s what I\u2019m doing.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Bengals are not counting on McCarron to do much. Jason Campbell is locked in as the backup to Andy Dalton. There is a chance that the Bengals could place McCarron on injured reserve.<\/p>\n

\u201cI always play through injury,\u201d McCarron said. \u201cThat\u2019s what I wanted to do. I was out there with my friends and teammates, the team needed me and I wasn\u2019t going to come out.
