Former Dallas Cowboys player Josh Brent was let out of jail on Sunday reports the Dallas Morning News<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Brent had been in jail following his conviction for a drunken car crash that killed his friend and teammate, Jerry Brown.<\/p>\n

He had been sentenced to 180 days in jail and 10 years\u2019 probation.<\/p>\n

While Brent retired from the NFL last year the Cowboys recently did not rule out<\/a> re-signing him.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll weigh in on that when the time comes,\u201d Cowboys owner Jones said in February. \u201cHe\u2019s retired and he has got a lot of work ahead of him. But obviously we hope he does all of the right things.
