Dez Bryant would like a contract extension from the Dallas Cowboys. It may come before the season starts.<\/p>\n

Speaking about a new deal for Bryant, Cowboys owner deemed it\u00a0\u00a0“a real possibility.” while speaking on 1310 The Ticket<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“We’re certainly taking a long look at that,” Jones said \u00a0“As we do with any great player in our organization who’s nearing the end of a contract, we start to look at it and see how we might structure something going forward. I think that’s a possibility, yes.”<\/p>\n

Bryant, 25, is coming off a monster season that saw him catch 93 passes for 1,233 yards and 13 touchdowns. Bryant’s 34 touchdowns over the last three seasons are the most in the NFL. Entering the final year of his rookie contract he will make $1.78 million this coming season.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m loyal to the squad,\u201d Bryant said on Wednesday. \u201cI\u2019ve always been. Me and my agent are going to talk about [a hometown discount]. We\u2019ll talk about it. You know, this is big. This is life-changing. Like I said, I\u2019ve done everything asked of me, and we\u2019ll see what happens.\u201d<\/p>\n
