He later signed on with the Redskins but was not long for the roster.<\/p>\n<p>Gumbs on the other hand appeared in eight games for the Redskins making one start.<\/p>\n<p>Also earning their release were DL Chris Davenport and TE Kevin Perry.<\/p>\n<p>The Redskins signed DE Frank Kease, CB Courtney Bridget, Cd Blake Sailers and S Ross Madison in corresponding moves.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Washington Redskins waived four players on Saturday.
