The New York Giants added both Rashad Jennings and Peyton Hillis to their depth chart at running back on Tuesday. While Jennings could compete for the spot of the teams No. 1 back, the addition of Hillis was simply for depth.
Hillis got a two-year deal worth $1.8 million but only $100,000 of it comes guaranteed. That gives the Giants the ability to cut the 28-year-old bruiser. Last season Hillis appeared in seven games averaging 3.4 yards per carry and finishing with 243 yards and two touchdowns.
Of Peyton Hillis' 2-year, $1.8 million deal, the #giants only guaranteed him $100K. Obviously will have to earn his spot on roster.

There is no guarantee that Hillis will break camp on the Giants roster.
