The Minnesota Vikings pulled Christian Ponder after another poor performance in Week 11’s loss to the Seattle Sehawks.
Matt Cassel was sent into the game with the Vikings down by 25 to the Seahawks. Ponder finished the game a mere 13-of-22 for 129 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions. Ponder also committed a fumble.
The end of Ponder’s day came following a pick six returned by Water Thurmond.
Next weeks quarterback in Minnesota is anyone’s guess but Ponder’s time with the Vikings is near an end one way or another.
