Indianapolis Colts coach Chuch Pagano met briefly with players and staff members of the team earlier this week. Colts owner Jim Irsay let the world of twitter know that Pagano could attend Sunday’s home game against the Miami Dolphins.
Irsay tweeted “Chuck is so strong n is endowed with his strength of more than 10 Monsters,that if u happen 2 c him @ LOS on Sun;u wont b imagining things”
Pagano has watched most of the Colts’ games this season from the hospital. He has been undergoing treatment for leukemia since late September. Pagano was able to leave the hospital last Friday but will receive more chemotherapy, according to the Indianapolis Star.
It is unknown when Pagano may return to coach the Colts. Bruce Arians has coached the team during Pagano’s time away, they have gone 3-1 during that time.
The Colts and fans have used the hash tag #CHUCKSTRONG this season in support of Pagano.
At 4-3 the Colts have a realistic chance at one of the AFC’s Wild Card Spots.
