Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler is reportedly planning to play in Week 10 against the Detroit Lions.
Cutler (groin) was listed as inactive for Monday nights game against the Green Bay Packers leaving Josh McCown under center for the Bears.
Bears injured QB Jay Cutler plans to return this week and, barring no setback, start vs Lions on Sunday, per team source.

If Cutler can return for Week 10 he will have missed a mere  one and a half games after he was originally expected to miss four weeks or three games.
Cutler is already doing some light running and throwing.
