Terrell Suggs has torn biceps, seeking second opinion

Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs has a upper arm injury. That injury is a torn biceps according to Albert Breer. The injury occurred during Sunday’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

With the injury Suggs could miss some time but will not be done for the season. Suggs will seek a second opinion and hopes to play though the injury.

He tweeted the following message on Monday. “Waiting on 2nd opinion. Will keep ya’ll posted. Don’t panic! We do this every year! The MISSION is still the same. #NawlinsInFebruary”

Playing with a torn biceps is not unheard of so its very likely that the Ravens will have Suggs back before too long. How severe the tear is will ultimately determine how much time Suggs will miss.

Suggs has 19 tackles and two sacks in six games. He missed the start of the season while recovering from surgery to repair a partially torn Achilles tendon.
