Derek Carr was limited in practice on Wednesday for the Raiders with injuries to his thumb and ankle but there does not seem to be any concern about his status for Sunday’s game.
Carr made all of the throws he needed to make according to head coach Tony Sparano and should be under center for the game against the Bills. It will be a tough spot for the Raiders and Carr as the Bills are still in the playoff picture and feature a top tier pass defense.
Derek Carr said he hurt his right thumb when he hit it on the helmet of a Chiefs defender. He said the ankle he hurt against Chiefs is fine.

In 14 games Carr has completed 59.2-percent of his passes for 2898 yards with an 18:11 touchdown to interception ratio. Carr is coming off a poor game against the Chiefs that saw him go 27-of-56 for 222 yards and a touchdown.
