Panthers at Saints: NFC Wildcard round betting odds, point spread and tv streaming info

The third match-up between the Carolina Panthers (11-5) and the New Orleans Saints (11-5) will take place this weekend in the NFC Wildcard round of the playoffs.

Both of these NFC South teams are familiar with one another but this year it was the Saints winning both regular season games against the Panthers. They will need to win a third if they want to continue into the playoffs.

Coverage of this game airs on FOX beginning at 4:40 pm ET on Sunday from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Drew Brees threw for 4,334 yards this season, the lowest total of any of his seasons with the Saints. A large part of that was the improvement of the Saints running game with Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara.

On the Panthers side of the ball it is clear that the offense runs though quarterback Cam Newton who not only quarterbacked the team but also ran for 754 yards and six touchdowns.

The Odds: The Saints opened as a 6 point favorite and that line has actually moved north to 7. The over/under for the game is 48 total points.

Will the Saints defeat the Panthers for the third time this season or will it be Ron Rivera’s club who advances to the next round?
