Matt Flynn 7-10 days away from practicing with Jets

The New York Jets have signed veteran quarterback Matt Flynn but the former Green Bay Packers backup is atleast a week away from practicing with the team.

Flynn is dealing with a hamstring injury which kept him sidelined during his time with the New England Patriots.

With the Jets, Flynn will backup Ryan Fitzpatrick. His job seems safe regardless of his hamstring status until Geno Smith is ready to return.
