Former Cleveland Browns and Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin is expected to sign with the Philadelphia Eagles this week.
Austin, 30, appears to only need to pass a physical when he arrives in Philadelphia to complete the deal. He played 12 games for the Browns last season catching 47 passes for 568 yards and three touchdowns.
Far removed from the 1,000 yard seasons he had in 2009 and 2010, Austin is nothing more than an inexpensive depth signing. His addition on the Eagles roster should have no effect on the Eagles draft day targets.
