Redskins head coach Jay Gruden will return for a second season at the helm of the team reports NBC Washington’s Dianna Marie Russini.

While Russini’s report is far from the Redskins publicly making a statement it does suggest that Daniel Snyder is not planning to eat four years of his salary for nothing. One could then assume that quarterback Robert Griffin III will not be back for the 2015 season with the team but again that is purely speculation.

With Colt McCoy out with a neck injury and Kirk Cousins already having proven himself unable to mange the offense the Redskins will play against the Eagles and Cowboys with Griffin under center.

At 3-11 the Redskins are moving towards one of the top picks in the draft. Whether or not they will select a quarterback will not be answered until after the season.
