The season of Buccaneers running back Jorvorskie Lane is over.
Lane, 27, had played just 77 snaps for the Buccaneers this season so his loss will have minimal impact on a ground game that has had trouble going regardless of who has been given the ball.
Lane was suspended two games in October after he violated the NFL’s policy against performance enhancing drugs. He is set to become a free agent at the end of the season meaning his time in Tampa Bay is almost surely over.
