Tight end Julius Thomas will not play in Sunday’s game against the Dolphins.
Thomas has been considered a game-time decision all week so this is not a surprise. Jacob Tamme will fill in for him against the Dolphins and has a good shot a producing a strong stat-line.
FOX’s Jay Glazer reported on Sunday that the Broncos do not consider Thomas’ ankle injury to be serious but have sent his x-rays to a specialist. He has a history of ankle injuries so his status of next week his hardly assured.
In a bit of good news, the Broncos will have Emmanuel Sanders on the field this week.
